15 (optional) If you want to integrate PATROL DashBoard with CiscoWorks2000 or
another external application, complete the Applications Parameters window:
A To specify an external application, select Enable External Application and specify
the following information:
■ Name: the name of the application as you want to see it in context menus
■ URL: the path to this application
The external application that you specify here must be available to PATROL
DashBoard. It does not have to be installed on the same computer as the
PATROL DashBoard server, but it must be reachable through the network.
B (optional, but recommended) To test the connectivity to the application, click Test
External Application
.
If a problem is encountered, an error message is displayed.
C To enable CiscoWorks2000 Service Management Solution, select Enable CW-
SMS
.
D Click Save.
After the setup parameters are saved, you are returned to the installation status
window.
16 After the status window reports that the installation is 100% complete, click Next to
view the results window. (
Next does not appear until the installation is 100%
complete.)
17 In the results window, click View Log to review the details of the installation or Exit
to close the installation utility.
Reinstalling PATROL DashBoard
If you determine that you have a corrupted PATROL DashBoard, you can reinstall
the product and suffer no loss of data. The installation utility detects an existing
installation of PATROL DashBoard 6.7 and prompts you to confirm that you want to
reinstall the product.
