Chapter 6 Managing Users 185
9 Select the Automatic Scale check box to activate the automatic scale of the graphs.
10 Click Modify.
To Reset the Superuser
1
In the User Management portion of the navigation tree, expand Users, and then
right-click su or the current superuser logon name.
2 Choose Reset.
If other users exist, you are alerted that you must delete these other users before
you can reset the superuser.
3 Click Apply Changes.
This action automatically resets the superuser logon ID and password to su and su,
which lets the superuser connect to the PATROL DashBoard server without
logging on.
Creating, Modifying, and Deleting a Profile
The superuser can create new user profiles based on the Standard and the Client
profiles. These new profiles can be customized to provide the appropriate level of
access for the user, and they can be modified and deleted to keep the profiles current.
Also, the superuser should retain the most extensive access, so the superuser should
change the user ID and password for superuser logon after other users have been
created.
