In Notifications, specify the type, if any, of notifications that you want:
E-mail: Select the check box to send threshold crossing e-mail notifications for
each device indicator.
SNMP: Select the check box to send SNMP traps to the SNMP managers as
notification of threshold crossings.
Apply Notifications on This Object and All Sub Objects: Click this button to use
the same type of notifications for subordinate objects in the navigation tree.
In Other Properties, modify the properties as appropriate:
Enable Polling: Select this check box to activate the collection of counters.
Clear the check box if you do not need reports on this device, do not need
statistics on this device, or if you want to hide this device. This property is
propagated to the device’s interfaces, DLCIs, VPs, VCs, and protocols.
Show Interfaces: Select this check box to display the device’s hidden
interfaces, DLCIs, VPs, VCs, protocols, and peers in the navigation tree.
Export Raw Data: Select this check box to export data into the Raw ASCII
report file.
DataBase Export: Select this check box to export data into databases according
to the CIM model.
Use SNMP v2c: Select this check box to use 64-bit counter format; clear the
check box to select 32-bit counter format. This option uses data that is
compliant with SNMP version 2c instead of version 1; select this check box
unless SNMP v1 compatibility is mandatory.
NetFlow and Port: Select this check box and specify the NetFlow port number
to validate the NetFlow feature on Cisco devices with an Internetworking
Operating System version 12 or later.
Track NetFlow on Interfaces: Select this check box to detail NetFlow data at the
interface level.
Top Talkers and Pairs: Select this check box and specify the maximum number
of pairs to take into account for Top Talkers data.
3 Click Apply Changes.
