13 (for users of PATROL Service Reporting for Networks only) If you are using PATROL
Service Reporting for Networks and you want this instance of PATROL
DashBoard to export data to the DataStore, complete the Database Export
Parameters window:
A To enable the export of PATROL DashBoard data to the PATROL Service
Reporting for Networks DataStore, select
Database Export Enabled.
If the database has not yet been created, ensure that it is created before any data
is sent to it.
B Click Next.
If you did not select
Database Export Enabled, skip to step 15 on page 35.
14 Complete the Export Parameters window:
A Specify the following information:
■ Server Hostname: the name or IP address of the server on which the PATROL
Service Reporting for Networks DataStore is installed
■ Listener Port: the port on which the DataStore is listening (accept the default:
1521)
■ Oracle SID: the name of the DataStore instance (accept the default: BMCEDS)
■ Login: the logon ID for the DataStore user (accept the default: psfrn)
■ Password: the password for the DataStore user (accept the default: psfrn)
The default values are defined when you install PATROL Service Reporting for
Networks.
B (optional, but recommended) To verify that the user ID is valid for the database,
click
Test Login.
If a problem is encountered, an error message is displayed.
C Click Next.

In the Database Export parameters window, do not select the Database Creation
check box unless you are instructed to do so by a BMC Software Customer Support
representative.
