About Indicator Thresholds
Chapter 7 Managing and Viewing Indicators 203
To Configure Thresholds by Using an Indicator Graph
1 Display the indicator graph in full-page mode (for instructions about using full-
page mode, see “Displaying Indicators” on page 206).
The maximum threshold is represented by the red horizontal line. The minimum
threshold is represented by the green horizontal line.
2 Point to a threshold line and then drag it up or down to the appropriate new value,
which is displayed in the box at the bottom right of the graph.
Resetting Thresholds
You can easily reset all of the indicator thresholds for all objects of a particular network
object type to their default values. Also, you can reset the thresholds of an individual
indicator to their default values.
To Reset All Thresholds of All Indicators for All Objects of a Particular Type
1
In the Device Configuration portion of the navigation tree, expand Indicator
Thresholds
.
2 Right-click the appropriate object type, and choose Set Default Values.
3 In the confirmation screen, click Set to Default Values.
TIP
You can also enter the threshold value by clicking the threshold line, which
displays either the
MinThreshold box or the MaxThreshold box at the bottom right
of the graph. Enter a value, and the threshold will be set to the entered value.
NOTE
The minimum threshold value must not exceed the maximum threshold value.
