The default directory is
■ \Program Files\BMC Software (Windows)
■ /opt/bmc (Unix)
6 From the Select Products and Components to Install window, select PATROL
DashBoard
(see Figure 4) and click Next.

7 In the PATROL DashBoard installation subdirectory window, specify the
subdirectory that you want to create and that will contain the product and click
Next.
The default installation subdirectory is
■ PATROL DashBoard (Windows)
■ PATROL_DashBoard (Unix)
If you are installing on Windows, skip to step 9 on page 32; if you are installing on
Unix, proceed with step 8.
8 (Unix only) In the Provide the System Root Account Properties window, provide
the root logon ID and password and click
Next.
