Using Phone Features
Checking Missed Calls
Missed Call Notification
The missed call icon ( ) is displayed in the title bar when you missed a call.
To check who the caller was:
ᮣ On the Home screen, slide to the People tab, tap All People, and then tap the Call History tab (rightmost
tab).

When you see the missed call icon ( ) in the title bar, tap the title bar to open the Notifications screen,
and then tap
Missed Call.
— or —
Press the Talk key to open the Phone dialer and then tap
Menu > Call History.
Call History
Call History shows you your incoming calls, outgoing calls, and missed calls. Call History makes redialing a
number fast and easy. It is continually updated as new numbers are added to the beginning of the list and
the oldest entries are removed from the bottom of the list.
Each entry contains the phone number (if it is available) and Contacts entry name (if the phone number is in
your Contacts). An icon appears to the left of the number, and it indicates the type of call:
To make a call from Call History:
ᮣ Tap a phone number you want to call.
To delete Call History entries:
ᮣ Tap Menu > Delete and select the Call History entries you want to delete and then tap Done.
Missed. These are incoming calls that you were not able to answer, and they
are routed to your voicemail.
Received. These are incoming calls that were answered.
Dialed. These are outgoing calls that you made.
Notes
• Call History records only those calls that occur while the device is turned on. If a call is received while your
device is turned off, it will not be added to the Call History.
• If you have a long list of calls in the Call History tab, tap Menu > Filter and then select the type of call that you
want to display.
• To view the exchange of calls with a particular contact only, tap the Contact Card button ( ) that appears
to the right of the contact.
Tip
To delete all Call History entries, from the Delete Call History screen, tap Menu > Select All, and then tap Done.
