Searching News Stories
Easily find stories that interest you by entering a search
keyword. Stories on your subscribed channels that
contain the keyword are displayed making it easier to
find the story you want.
1. Press and tap > News.
2. Tap and enter the keyword. The stories that
contain the keyword display on the screen.
Reading a Story
1. Press and tap > News.
2. Tap All items > Subscriptions, and then tap a
channel.
3. Scroll through the list of stories, and then tap a
story to read it.
4. While reading a story, you can tap:
Ⅲ Like if you like the story.
Ⅲ to star the story as a favorite. To access your
favorite stories, press to return to the All items
screen, and then tap
All items > My items >
Starred items.
Ⅲ to share the story via Google reader share,
message (link to the story only), or email.
Ⅲ to write a comment about the story.
Ⅲ and to go to the previous or next story in
the channel.
Ⅲ to tag the story to another channel or
category you’ve subscribed.
5. If you want to read the whole story, tap Read full
article. This opens the story in the Web browser.

Changing News Settings
1. Press and tap > News.
2. Press , and then tap Settings.
Ⅲ Accounts: Select the Google account you want
News to sync with.
Ⅲ Update when opened: Update the content of the
channels you’ve subscribed to every time you
open the News app.
