Creating and sending a multimedia
message
Multimedia messages consist of pictures,
videos, text, and sounds presented as one
or more slides. Even if your Treo 750 does
not include a camera, you can still send,
receive, and view pictures and videos. You
can include any of the following items:
• Ringtones
• MIDI
• Sound clips
• AMR
• QCELP
• Pictures
• JPEG
• GIF
• WBMP
• Videos
• 3GPP
• 3GPP2
• MPEG4
Outgoing multimedia messages can be up
to 300KB by default, but Cingular may
change the maximum message size.
TIP
To address a message to multiple
recipients, separate the addresses by
pressing Enter or entering a semicolon (;). You
can send a message to up to 20 addresses.
TIP
To send a message to a different number
for a contact, select the contact in the To field,
and then edit the number that appears in the
box directly below the contact number. You
can also select a number by pressing Center
on the 5-way, and then edit it.
TIP
You can also access predefined phrases
and emoticons by pressing Menu (right action
key) on the message compose screen.
TIP
Some symbols can’t be used in text
messages. Invalid characters are automatically
replaced by the Messaging application.
