upload sim_ms
Purpose User to upload a configuration file to a TFTP server from a specified member of a SIM
group.
Syntax
upload sim_ms [configuration_to_tftp | log_to_tftp] <ipaddr> <path_filename>
{[members <mslist> | all]}
Description This command is used to upload a configuration file to a TFTP server from a specified
member of a SIM group.
Parameters configuration_to_tftp – Specify this parameter if the user wishes to upload a switch
configuration to members of a SIM group.
log_to_tftp – Specify this parameter if the user wishes to upload a switch log to members
of a SIM group.
<ipaddr> – Enter the IP address of the TFTP server to which to upload a configuration
file.
<path_filename> – Enter a user–defined path and file name on the TFTP server to which
to upload configuration files.
members – Enter this parameter to specify the members to which to upload switch
configuration or log files. The user may specify a member or members by adding one of
the following:
<mslist> – Enter a value, or values to specify which members of the SIM group
will upload the switch configuration or log files.
all – Add this parameter to specify all members of the SIM group will upload the
switch configuration or log files.
Restrictions Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To upload configuration files to a TFTP server:
DGS–3426:5# upload sim_ms configuration 10.55.47.1 D:\configuration.txt 1
