You can use the Remote Address Lookup feature on any Find screen such as when
you are placing a phone call, creating a meeting request, or sending an email
message.
Remote Address Lookup actions
When you select the results of a Remote Address Lookup search, you can perform
one of the following actions:
Add: This action adds the contact information for a selected contact to your
handheld Address Book.
Add All: This action adds the contact information for all the listed contacts to
your handheld Address Book. If you set the Allow Duplicate Names field to No
on the Address Book Options screen, you are prompted with the following
options when you attempt to add a duplicate entry:
Ignore: This option ignores the selected contact and does not add it to
your Address Book.
Ignore All: This action ignores all of the duplicate contacts listed and
does not add them to your Address Book.
Replace: This action replaces the contact information that is stored in
your handheld with the information for the selected contact in the lookup
results.
Replace All: This action replaces the contact information that is stored in
your handheld with the information in the lookup results for all of the
duplicate contacts listed.
Delete: This action deletes the selected contact from the search results list.
Delete Lookup: This action deletes the lookup results.
Lookup: This action displays a dialog box that enables you to edit existing search
criteria or type new criteria.
Resolve: This action adds the selected contact to your Address Book temporarily.
After you resolve a contact, you can send messages to this contact or view the
lookup results that are associated with the contact for as long as it remains in your
Address Book.
Tip: If there multiple contacts are listed, and you want to add all of the contacts to your
Address Book, click Add All.
